The Digital Void of SPZ

Ever since I got infatuated with Pantera and Dimebag Darrell () when their Cowboys From Hell album came out, I have also been curious about Dean guitars. My buddy Joris, who changes guitar gear more often than I change my underwear (so roughly once a month) and hence has burnt through a massive arsenal of expensive amps and guitars, has always kept talking about how nothing really rouches his Dean. Then, not too long ago, a great offer shows up for that exact same Dean: The very limited Blueburst Custom V of which there were only 13 made. I jumped on it and, as I wrote in a previous blog entry, had my homie Steve send it to me from the USA. Let me just say, Joris you were right all along, this thing SMOKES! So punchy, so resonant and the balance and playability is outstanding making it the best instrument I've ever played. Not to mention that it is gorgeous.
