Flocking to Scientology One by One

, ,

Your average Joe probably doesn't fully know what Scientology is, though they will most likely tell you it is a religion and that certain Celebrities follow it. What many don't know is the details of the teachings within Scientology. The creator of the "religion", a certain Mr. Hubbard, was an American science fiction author. For those that don't know his teachings, and literally what Scientologists are taught, they state that:

Xenu was an alien ruler of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of people to Earth in DC-8 -like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and blew them up with hydrogen bombs. Their souls then clustered together and stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to wreak chaos and havoc today.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I found this post, whether true or false, to be quite interresting. It is quite long but worth the read, and deals with the confessions of a supposed member of the second highest level within Scientology:

Yes, we level VII’s do believe in Hell. Not just any Hell, but the standard Christian levels of Hell, where the last level is saved for betrayers. We believe Hubbards screams are heard by Judas himself.

Does that mean Tom Cruise knows Dianetics is a lie? Yes. Although I have no idea how that effects him personally. It hits us all differently. I’ve seen but not met Katie Holmes around the PAC base. She’s a level III, which means she doesn’t know that everything her soul-mate teaches her is a lie. We all lie, it’s part of the job. It’s part of the plan.

The oldest anti-Scientology website around is Operation Clambake owned and maintained by Andreas Heldal-Lund, who views the Church of Scientology and their leadership as an abusive and dangerous cult. I absolutely agree, if you know nothing about Scientology then it is about time to educate yourself. His site contains documents usually only revelaed to Scientologists themselves at certain levels, amongst other things.

There is a great South Park episode or two dealing with Scientology, well worth watching. And yes, Scientology has even found its way to Oslo, Norway.

Dude, uh, why are you blogging this again? BTW wasn't like Anne Markwith (from Basel) a scientologist, ya geeza? :eyes: :coffee:

Why? To educate the sheep p: Scientology is evil and its growing beyong belief, it needs to be openly discussed.

No Ann's family were natural scientists or whatever they call it, big difference. They basically are normal christians except for the fact that they like don't believe in taking medicine (this they have in common with Scientology) so that if you get well it is God's plan, if not then it's still Gods will... :ko:
