Back from France

Just got back yesterday from the annual summer trip to Provance. My brother has a house down there that has been renovated and we've all done alot of work down there. It is huge and luxurious and we're usually 8-16 people there at a time, enjoying the warm weather, the good food and eachothers company.

This year was nice as usual, very warm with over 40C in the shade (over 30C at night) with the pool keeping a steady 31C. This year we had another baby join us, Steffi's sister Angie brought her 1 month old son Theo. Next year Henry and Steffi will be bringing their third child, who is set to enter the world right after Christmas.

I'll be arranging a trip for me and my friends probably around may 2007, so stay tuned for that.

31 in the pool is craziness. I think the hottest our pool ever got on Cayman was around 28... Gotta love global warming :s

That kind of heat is only bearable when you know your exposure to it is finite, so a week was quite nice even if you have trouble sleeping at night. Was surprisingly warm here when I got back as well actually.
