A Los Angeles Cardinal of a Roman Catholic Church just offered an apology yesterday and agreed to a financial settlement worth $(USD)660 million for 508 victims of abuse.

for pics around the world. It caught my eye when it was on the my.opera.com homepage showing Canada's pics, mostly landscape pics of West Canada's mountains(Rockies I think),forests and lakes. The owner of the pics took them herself (I don't think it's her profession...I'm not sure). My favs are the inner-city pics of Barcelona.

communicate, opera, gratitude, first post ...

I think I've made a blog b4, but never followed up on it

. So let me start by giving thanks.

Thank you Opera, for giving me, and us, in this young community a browser that's an alternative to IE and other expensive corporate softwares

that threaten to widen the communication, technological gap between the have's and the have not's. Thank you for keeping the freedom alive to use tools that can help us communicate with the new world that is the WWW. Keep innovating!
