Being a previous owner of a Fiat Spyder I am sure you are not driving that in the snow. Just stay home with your Barollo wine and ferroro chocolat and enjoy the beauty of the Alps. But if your internet connection is like mine, when the weather gets bad it goes down.

Cat my beautiful Cat.....these are strange days for me, in the catwitch forest! Not so much cold, but stormy weather in the air and....by the way, I think I'm sniffing some little smell of Spring, far far away in the sky and around on trees and bushes....The two ravens quietly fly above my house, the cat still sleeps beside the fireplace....something is going to change, I know....

@ Isabel - Oh, yes ..... never seen so much snow in the plains! These days, however, the weather is better, a beautiful sun shines in a blue blue sky, although still very cold

Wow, thats hell of snowfall. How do you cope with such climatic extreme. In our part of world, there are rain, lots of rain. In northern India, along the Himalayas, we do have such snowfalls with temperature running into 0 to -30/40.
