Make a wallpaper with mtPaint.

MtPaint is the default paint program in Puppy Linux as well as a few other light weight operating systems such as Lubuntu - here is a video on how to make a simple and quick wallpaper with mtPaint.
Tips.
Make sure to convert the image to RGB first - Image tab > Convert To RGB
After selecting font/text to paste it use the Return key on your keyboard.
To install font.
Download the Arkitech truetype.tar.gz file to your /root directory and in Terminal:
Wallpaper.
