I've been fascinated by scarecrows since I was a kid. When I'm driving around, I look for them. It's amazing how many are out there that we never notice.

I have been following the blog of a Japanese woman. Japanese farmers also put up scarecrows in their rice fields (although she says they are colorful, but ineffective).

Pam, they are so cute, I especially like this couple :smile: There are different scarecrows on exhibit at the U of M's Landscape Arboretum. It's a Parade of Scarecrows...
