brew the tea, let it cool...pour o'er the cubes, give a sigh and smile ;)

Remembering You

Photobucket

A girl was talking on her phone
A boy was running to the stone
A man would not leave me alone

As I was in the garden.

The geese were walking, then floating by,
The willow weeping ‘gainst the sky,
The water, gone blossoms just seemed to cry

As I, alone, was scared--

Remember now
That You were there…

Nice poem up
Nice Photoshopping, too wink

I thought the photoshopping gave the scene a dream-like quality that added to the disorientation. Nicely complemented the poem. up

Nice poem Jill.

Interesting effect on the photo. It's rather surreal.

"The willow weeping ‘gainst the sky", I like it very much. smile

The photo seems to be a familiar Japanese/Chinese garden I saw somewhere before, can't remember.

thank you very much- the lighting was at dusk, then became dark quickly... took the photo from the ground and the orange and reds kept the light as everything else blackened- (sort of how tomotoes retain such heat when cooked!) and with a little help from editing, it created what Pam called a surreal effect. I thought, too.
