OS X, Computers, iMac G3
Well, I bought some ram (256 MB module) from ebay about 2 days ago and it ALREADY came! Wow! That was possibly the fastest shipping thing on ebay I have purchased. It works really good too. No longer 80% of my ram is taken, mostly 30% now:D. The G3 processor still throws a fit sometimes when I have lots of stuff i'm doing at the same time though. Dashboard is still a little bit laggy probably because of the G3 400 though but the genie effect when minimizing no longer lags which kicks ass. here is my new screen!

Mac OS, OS X, Mac, 10.4 Tiger
...
I recently purchased a iMac G3 on ebay. It's a ruby one, comes with keyboard mouse and power cord, with 384MB of ram, 10GB hard drive, and a 400MHz Processor. It runs Tiger! 10.4.6! How awesome, and it comes TOMORROW! I am about to scheiße all out the window from all the excitement. The cool thing is that I have red and white gel candles and they are the same colors as my new iMac! I am so happy that I finally got a apple computer. I will post unboxing pictures tomorrow.

Mac, Virus, Desktop, Kernel Panic
...
What in the world is the problem with windows machines? I'm listening to my music right, and all of the sudden the whole system freezes up and I can't do anything AT ALL. I manually shut off the box, turn it back on, it boots, logs on, does it again! I do the same process yet again, and everything is fine. I throw down a virus and spyware scan, and it comes up clean. What in the world is up with these things? I haven't had half the problems with macintosh and linux systems as this damn thing. OKAY. The only problem with Linux (Ubuntu 7.10) is a MASSIVE Kernel Panic causing the whole system to lock up on boot every time and as a result, losing all of my data. Windows does it more often though as dubbed, "Blue Screen of Death." The only reason I keep it is because I play video games and I have 1000s of pictures and music on here. Not to mention my desktop is totally tweaked out with rocketdock and flashy icons in it and cool wallpapers and a cool theme! It could easily be mistaken for OS X with the dock menu and everything. Attached is an old screenshot of my desktop a few months back. It's had many changes since.

Music, Work, Drums, Moving
...
It looks like my mouse is still dying. Every few minutes I have to press the reset button on the bottom. Today I got paid for working on cleaning up my grandma's house in Lansing. I'm still trying to find a job, but Michigan looks like a dead end state from here. I heard from Lizzy that Alaska has a lot of job openings. I really don't want to move because that would be putting my band off. We have a few songs and we're looking to set up a studio if we ever get the house up the hill. I also need a new recording interface. With that, we should be set. It looks like I need new drum heads already. I'd like to get the coated ones since I'm tired of the clear pinstripes. Looks like I also need new resonant heads (the ones that go on the bottom of the drum shells) also. I got my printer hooked up again and some paper from mom's downstairs hehehe. Well, I wish wireless mice would take their power from the usb hub instead of some AA batteries. Bummer. Bye for now.
