La BBC hizo cubrió el lanzamiento de Vista en Inglaterra y abrió un foro para que los usuarios enviaran sus impresiones y respondieran a la pregunta Will you be getting Microsoft Vista?Aquí algunas impresiones...

That whole OS is one big trojan horse.
At home, Vista has too much "big brother" (I want to be able to change my hardware, & make reasonable use of my CDs/DVDs) & it runs too slowly on my existing machine (which I don't want to spend money on).
No way, It is overpriced,the upgrade system is crap, and with DRM capable of locking you out of your own computer, smacks too much of "Big Brother", and with Linux getting better thats the way to go
If you are a serious, 'Gamer', then you'll probably need a windows package.
Otherwise save your money for something else.
Vista consumer launch today. SP1 on the way tomorrow.
And this is supposed to be their new flagship O/S?

I've tried Vista and found it far slower than XP.

People buying this new VISTA operating system, should read their user agreement...
I'm not buying Vista, I'm getting an Apple Macintosh.
Vista's so-called 'additional features' have led me to investigate the equally good-looking Ubuntu Linux.
I will certainly never buy Windows Vista, mainly because it's a total rip-off (particularly in the UK) and because of the outrageous DRM issues. I'm going over to Linux.
Will I be using Vista? Since I discovered Mac OSX and Linux? Erm, no, to put it bluntly.
Well, let me think:
1. Vista costs a small fortune, twice as much here as in the US (as is usually the case);
2. I get to spend many pleasurable hours trying to set up and register a new operating system;
3. My Windows XP does not appear to be broken.
Ask yourself: iPod or "Zune"?
Ahora, lo que me llama la atención es haber visto un "Paseo por Windows Vista" en la página de La Tercera. Intrigado, hice clic y OH SORPRESA! Era nada más y nada menos que PROPAGANDA de Windows! Es más, estaba incluso en inglés!!

No se si has escuchado este opinion filosofica, que las gentes en su historia han intentado paso al paso crear a los reeplacos de partes de su cuerpo. Por ejemplo de brazos - un excavador, del mana - pala.. ect. Con compu el intente reemplazar al cerebro. Esta idea ya dicelo :).
