Why everyone with a computer should consider running linux

Anyway, I've attached a copy of the article I've sent to my college magazine. It's titled "Linux and You", and it's my first attempt at spreading the word. Try reading it (It's only about 2 pages long), and recommend it to someone. Anyone. Whatever.

Doing the article up was very fun LaTeX practice. I don't get time even for that any more.

Nice article, short and covers up all the points.
The best way to make people think to shift is to demonstrate it live, else they never bother, except those who find learning fun (and are the real human beings). Arranging an LUG Demo seminar is a nice thing to do too.
But I never bother about all that, cause no one in my class (Except a girl who likes to code) has any interest in computers or whatsoever, even being in I.T. themselves. Waste of time for me to put something in their heads, or for that matter, their computers.
P.s. A small, nice typo in the doc.
"It dows take some getting used to, but not too much."
Make that does. Cause Dows makes it sound the other way ;)

I hope somebody fixed the typo.

I have 2 reasons why I shouldn't use linux
1) No PF
2) Full read-write support for NTFS but read-only support for UFS and no support whatsoever for ZFS.

And no mention of mandriva on your list, it's way better for newbies than say fedora or debian.
