About me

Hello... I'm Glenn. I'm a Canadian, however, I don't really boast about that! I've lived from coast to coast in cities like Halifax, Montreal, Winnipeg, Banff, and Victoria and now reside in beautiful Colorado. I'm the founder and managing editor of several technology resources including: SymbianOne.com (for symbian OS developers and enthusiasts), the LBSzone.com (for those into LBS and location-based app development), and GISuser.com (for GIS and mapping professionals). I have a wife, 3 kids, a dog and a cat and I've been active as an online editor since 1998 and have founded several leading technology web resources. I'm online way too much, don't sleep enough, multi-task, travel loads, but I'm always happy... my pet peeves are mean people and those who always see the cup half-empty rather than half-full ;0)

My work

Web Editor & mobile technology news evangelist. I've developed and launched several popular technology web resources and mainatin 3 with daily updates supported by newsletters. Staying abreast of mobile technology, GIS and geospatial technologies, and anything related to the two areas is my focus. Travel to events is a huge part of my work and I love it, although as many of you know, going to cool destinations ususally involves long days, little sleep, loads of work and a nightmare when you return home to greet all the waiting calls and email.
