The Cosmos

I have got a crush on the Cosmos series of late.
I know it’s way too old by now and way too popular for me to prattle about it. But I saw it only recently and can’t help blabbering about it. I haven’t even seen all the episodes, my physics teacher gave me 4-5 episodes and I watched and adored them. Carl Sagan was, in one word, superb. I have been in love with cosmology since I was a kid, but I think even the ones who don’t have any knowledge or interest in the topic will be attracted to this kind of enthralling display.
Here's a piece about evolution from one of the episodes.
Plus the demos of stellar nurseries, pulsars, satellites, and of course - Martian life, were equally captivating.
Here's Carl Sagan at a glance I wish i had that book of his- 'The Varieties of Scientific Experience', but that's something Project Gutenburg wouldn't give out for free!
