2008 scheint "Zahn-Jahr" zu sein.
Meine Eltern mußten beide diese Woche zum Zahnarzt und 'nem Kumpel hat sein Zahnarzt letzte Woche zwei Zähne gezogen.
Und auch ich habe heute meine zweite Füllung bekommen. Während meine Zahnärztin damals 1990 noch das gute Amalgam verbaut hat, gab's heute eine schicke Kunststoff-Füllung
Weil's wie immer nur ein klitzekleines Loch war, hab ich auch auf die Betäubung verzichtet.
Und ja, mein Leben ist so scheißlangweilig, daß meine zweite Zahnfüllung einen eigenen Blogeintrag wert ist.

2008 seems to be "Year o'the tooth".
My parents both had an appointment this week and a friend got two of his teeth pulled out last week.
And I got my second filling today. While in 1990 my dentist put in a good amalgam filling, today I got a nice composite filling
Since it was just a tiny hole (as always), I did without local anaesthesia.
And yes, my life is boring enough for my second filling to warrant it's own blog entry.

Ich habe letztens festgestellt, daß der Tag vor meinem 30. ein Freitag ist. Das ist gut, denn Freitag ist Box-Tag.
Ich werde meine Pläne, großflächig um meinen 30. herum irgendwo ganz weit weg in Urlaub zu fahren also streichen. Stattdessen werde ich mir an dem Freitag ein Taxi nehmen, in meine Lieblingsdisco fahren und mir den Verstand wegsaufen.
Dann isses mir auch scheißegal, was meine "Freunde" mit mir am nächsten Tag so anstellen wollen.

I recently found out that the day before my 30th birthday is a friday. That is good, because friday is Box-day. (The "MusikBox" or just "Box" is my favourite disco. On fridays they play things like Alternative, Darkwave, EBM, Gothic, Death- and Thrash-Metal.)
So I will cancel my plans of going on a long vacation far far away during the weeks around my birthday. Instead I will call a cab to drive me to my favourite disco and get pissed like I never got pissed before.
Then I won't care what my "friends" will do to me the next day. (Around here there is this stupid tradition. When you turn 30 and are still not married, your "friends" make you sweep some public place. If you're lucky you get a broom to do it, but usually it starts with much smaller things like a toothbrush for example. You have to sweep until a virgin releases you with a kiss. All this is usually accompanied with vast amounts of alcohol. Personally I consider this tradition as a way of telling someone "30 and still no girlfriend ? Loser !" I know that I failed. I don't need this shoved into my face. )
