Wolverhampton Baklava

It seems to be made in Wolverhampton, a town close to Birmingham (and it is known because of the foodball club it has).
This box cost £1.49. Not expensive I thought. The baklavas used to be more expensive but the price is lowered as the number of Middle Eastern grocers increases.
They don't look as appetizing as the fresh ones, but taste not bad, even though they have strange yeasty smell.
I am also a bit worried about the expiration date. I bought this in October, and the expiration is in January. How it is possible? When we buy fresh baklava from Greece, after 10 days they start to taste old, stale.
Anyway, it is a good thing that we can buy baklava for affordable price from a corner shop in Birmingham.
