Grandeur et misère du Maroc

As soon as she arrived in Maroc, even before arriving at hotel, a pick pocket stole her wallet. It must have been one of these "taxi" guys who were haunting the tourists. Also her boy friend was stolen his mobile.
Several months ago, another colleague of mine and his girl friend went to Morocco for vacation, and he was robbed with a knife pointed at him.
Back to her story. When she found out the wallet was missing and realised that she was robbed, she started to cry like a baby saying "What should I do? What can I do?"
A Moroccan guy approached and asked her: "What happened? Do you speak English? Tell me what happened?" She told him her story. He said he was sorry and gave her some money. Then he left.
It was like £5 here in UK, but it was not a small amount of money in Morocco.
I am very impressed. I would not be behave myself like he did. It is interesting that the most impressive kind of generosity is often found in poorer countries.
God (whichever god is) bless the guy.
