April snow

This is our garden. Check out how deep is the snow.
This is about one hour later.
Ok. UK is cold, but it is rare that it snows so much in Central England in April.
And on the other hand, we have also this.
How crazy is this?

Wow! Those are beautiful indeed! They remind me of the movie Narnia
And the pink ( leaves? flowers? ) tree reminds me of Sakura. Line the trees together and it's a perfect view

I am not sure if it is normal for UK. This morning, when I went out at 7:20, all the cars were covered with frost.
Anyway, here it does not get really hot as in Japan or in Malaysia. To give you an idea, I can go out only with half-sleeve shirt only 10-15 days a year (but the British people have different idea about temperature and some go out with T-shirt even during the summer!).
Hi Aida,
The author of Narnia, C.S. Lewis lived in UK (although is an Irish), so his image must have been affected by the scenery here, and consequently it must influenced the movie creators.
The pink tree must be cheery tree (Sakura in Japanese), but for some reason, the cherry blossom is more beautiful in Japan.

Ahhh.. he lived in UK? No wonder then. Yea I guess it must have an influence because my first thought when I saw your photos was "Ahhh, Narnia!"
Yea it's absolutely beautiful in Japan. I once saw a photo where it looked like as if the street had a pink roof. Amazing!
