Dr. Tae Yun Kim: Overcoming a Difficult Birth.

Dr. Tae Yun Kim was born in 1946 on the Lunar New Year in South Korea. Her family was quite poor, and she was born into a house that modern people might consider a shack. Being born into a poor family is often a large challenge to overcome, but Dr. Tae Yun Kim had yet more challenges to face and conquer. Her family believed that although she was born under an auspicious sign, the Lunar New Year, because she was a girl, they considered her cursed. They didn't always feed her regularly, and they certainly didn't treat her with love and compassion.

Some people say that how you're treated as a child will define how you feel about yourself as an adult. Dr. Tae Yun Kim couldn't disagree with this more. Where her family considered her cursed and unlucky, Dr. Tae Yun Kim considered herself lucky to have been born with intelligence and a drive to succeed. Where her family didn't treat her with love, she always felt loved by the world around her, and that's why she is able to face the world with such charm and confidence. Where Dr. Tae Yun Kim's family considered her almost invisible, Dr. Tae Yun Kim knew she had something valuable to give the world, and she wouldn't stop until she'd drawn attention to that fact.

Dr. Tae Yun Kim is living proof that an inauspicious birth and a difficult childhood can't truly stop people from achieving their dreams and becoming successful in their lives. A positive outlook and a strong inner voice can truly help people overcome these challenges.

My work

Dr. Tae Yun Kim moved to the U.S. in 1968. Since arriving in the U.S., Tae Yun Kim has accumulated noteworthy experience as a business professional in a number of different fields or industries. When she first moved to the U.S. Tae Yun Kim had three jobs: selling vehicles, hotel cleaning, and working as a gas station attendant. Needless to say, these early jobs in the career of Dr. Tae Yun Kim were far from glamorous. To say the least, Dr. Tae Yun Kim faced some major obstacles to success during this time of her life. Still Dr. Tae Yun Kim remained true to herself and true to her faith. Eventually Dr. Tae Yun Kim did achieve her goals of success. One of Dr. Tae Yun Kim's success stories came when she founded a computer solutions company that became largely sucessful in the United States and abroad. In addition to her this business, Dr. Tae Yun Kim has professional experience working in fields related to technology and science. Outside of these professional business experiences, Dr. Tae Yun Kim has achieved the status of one of the top ranked Tae Kwon Do Grandmaster in the world. In 2009 this status was reaffirmed when it was announced that she made it into the Official Tae Kwon Do Hall of Fame. Get more information at
