My wishes

  1. Show RSS icon in top right corner of the page when address bar is disabled

  2. Option to specify search.ini location in opera6.ini

  3. Update frequency column for RSS feeds manage window

  4. "Use same proxy server for all protocals" option as in IE

  5. Option to delete search histories in delete private data window

  6. Option for referrer logging to the site itself

better working with gmail and google documents. Kestrel doesnt support editing spreadsheets whch iss very disappointing for me

i've posted some wishes at the opera newsserver (news://news.opera.com/opera.wishlist), but i think somewhere where posts can be redirected|organized by an admin|mod would be better. i've noticed that both op and mozilla wish groups will contain threads where original poster just didn't know their wish already had a solution (admittedly sometimes the existing solution is weak, and therefore the topic semi-qualifies as a "wish")

I want to be able to load a feed without automatically subscribing to it.

I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me if there was a way to disable the alert. If not, I'd really like to put this on the wishlist.

Just upgraded to 9.5 Which I like for the most part. Even getting used to the new skin.

However, the one thing I really miss is some sort of progress indicator for receiving / sending mail. I'm on a slow connection and if an email has any sort of attachment I'm left guessing as to how long it will take to download.

9.2x was bad enough, at least I could go into Tools > Mail and Chat Accounts and see the progress there, but 9.5 has removed that now.

If I could get this one little thing then Opera would be perfect.

I have organised my Opera with additional buttons and additions to the right click menu which allows me to do daily business entirely in Opera.
(The only browser that can be customised to allow this!)
One gripe - I would like to be able to highlight a note and print it!

I'd like to see, that the configuration of my sidebar webpages (view > small screen) gets saved. I use several pages in my sidebar (dictionaries, SID search, key generators, ...) that I prefer to use in small screen mode, but every time I restart Opera they're back in normal mode. :eek:

9.5 now includes your bookmarks when you search direct from the address bar, and I cannot find anyway to turn this off.

This means that any private bookmarks can embarrasingly appear during innocent searches. Not much fun with your boss, or a client looking over your shoulder.

A sensible and common wish, Kazan, but not granted - best you can do is maintain a private bookmarks file (fortunately swapping files is easy). See here for more.
