massage bed...

I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has any experience with either this, or another brand of massage bed. I might need to buy one soon.
Jade Thermal Massage Bed

Product Description
Fijibed®offers the combined therapeutic benefits of acupressure, chiropractic, massage, and far-infrared heat with premium jade rollers to relieve the stress and tension in the muscles, improve blood circulation, and increase energy.

The Basic Principles:
Acupressure- Acupressure involves the use of the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural ability to heal itself. Pressing on these points relieves muscle tension to aid in the healing process.

Chiropractic- Chiropractors believe that the body can heal itself when its systems are properly aligned and allowed to operate without impediment.

Massage Therapy- Massage therapy refers to the application of various techniques to the muscle structure and soft tissues of the body that include applying fixed or movable pressure and compression using primarily the hands. All of the techniques are used for the benefits of the musculoskeletal, circulatory-lymphatic, nervous, and other systems of the body. In fact, massage therapy positively influences the overall health and well-being of the users.

Far-Infrared Rays- The term Far-Infraredrefers to a specific segment of the light spectrum. Far-Infrared has the ability to increase blood flow, which reduces spasms, increases muscle tone during exercise, removes toxins, reduces swelling & inflammation by improving lymph flow, stimulates enzyme activity and reduces acidity.

I've got it all worked out now

1) ARCHOS 605 WiFi 30gb (the 160gb model would be great but I can't wait that long) with one of these, possibly one of these, and Opera (and Flash video support).

besides...

2) UNLIMITED FREE ONLINE STORAGE SPACE is now available. So I can just store everything in the one place and access it anywhere.

3) I'm rarely in the UK but I'm getting broadband there anyway. Orange's full service will cost me about 240 squids a year, but this includes free UK & international calls, which I will use a lot whenever I'm back.

4) Possibly some purchased web space to do some web development, but that's what I always say without ever doing it. I want the facilities of NT hosting without having to buy "a domain name". I'd be quite happy with a pretty cryptic address. I suppose I could just use Websamba, though the service was pretty slow last time I used it, and support was non-existent. I don't think they have a business plan - it looks like it was someone's "good idea at the time" which just got forgotten about. Maybe they all died?

But seriously, this new Archos gizmo is worth a look. The base machine is reasonably priced (300 Euros as of now), but you have to pay extra for the docking station and for plugins. You can get three plugins, one of which is Opera (yes, you have to buy it) but what you end up with is a touch-screen tablet media player/recorder with WiFi (802.11g), so you can either lie in the bath and watch videos or listen to music or watch YouTube, or you can plonk it next to your TV and watch it all on there, plus you can record anything from the TV or DVD/Camcorder etc. directly into MPEG-4 AVI format.

It also has a PDF viewer. Now, couple this thing, as it is, with online office applications and, and, and... I think that would just be dandy!

mmmm!

I've just had a

moment!

"BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq - The airplane is the size of a jet fighter, powered by a turboprop engine, able to fly at 300 mph and reach 50,000 feet. It’s outfitted with infrared, laser and radar targeting, and with a ton and a half of guided bombs and missiles.

The Reaper is loaded, but there’s no one on board. Its pilot, as it bombs targets in Iraq, will sit at a video console 7,000 miles away in Nevada.

The arrival of these outsize U.S. "hunter-killer" drones, in aviation history’s first robot attack squadron, will be a watershed moment even in an Iraq that has seen too many innovative ways to hunt and kill."
— Associated Press, July 16, 2007.

As the article says: let’s imagine for a moment that Iraqis are actually human beings. Or better yet, imagine a country 100 times more powerful than the U.S. bombing all our major cities, then slaughtering the survivors as they attempted to escape in their cars (stuck in traffic jams; literally sitting ducks). Imagine if after this 3 week nightmare resulting in the equivalent of millions of American casualties, the Attackers forced an embargo for twelve years, in which hospitals could not get medicine, vehicles could not receive spare parts, and food and water were scarce, not to mention the destruction of the infrastructure and occasional air raid. THEN imagine that after twelve years of this, the ATTACKERS struck again, this time with the intention of taking over the country, stealing its natural and cultural resources, and basically leaving the U.S. not a society, but a chunk of bombed-out land populated by sick, hungry, wounded, terrified walking zombies. Would we fight back, like the "insurgents?" Or would be throw flowers at our ATTACKER? Would we even call those Americans who, like many French in WWII, resisted, "insurgents" or "Patriots?"

The Second American Revolution

, ,

It's probably, somehow, anti-semitic  to even talk about this but, when I think about it, the more I read, and the more I see, we are in the deciding, desperate throes of the neocon machine. The've got the mass media under control, so you'd never hear anything about this on TV, but there's a real movement going on, both in America and in the growing numbers of supporting "nations", everywhere else.

Take this movie, for instance.

The film sounds like it should be watched - I haven't had chance to yet, but the overall message of the site comes across loud and clear. This is a movement of really intelligent and extraordinary people, and they can see the monsters for what they are. They don't like seeing the poor people being so put upon and deluded like they are. They don't like the people who are doing it to them, they are evil.

And when the last law was cut down and the devil turned around on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat? Do you really think that you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then?

£40 Green charge looms for flights after airlines 'fail over carbon footprints'

,

Scotsman.com News - 23rd July 2007

PASSENGERS should pay a "green tax" on airfares to combat the damage to the environment caused by increased flying, an influential Westminster committee said last night.

Tim Yeo, who chairs the Commons environmental audit committee, said airlines should be forced to levy a charge of up to £40 for every flight to offset carbon emissions from aircraft.

Here it comes - all this mass hynosis about the impending environmental disaster is all about finding new ways to tax and enslave people.

Up next - Personal carbon taxes.

"I used to say to him what's the point of all this," states Russo, "you have all the money in the world you need, you have all the power you need, what's the point, what's the end goal?" to which Rockefeller replied (paraphrasing), "The end goal is to get everybody chipped, to control the whole society, to have the bankers and the elite people control the world."
