I've been offered an internship at google on their security team over the summer, so I'll be working at their european headquarters in Dublin from next week. If everything goes to plan I'm moving to Ireland over the weekend, so I'll probably be afk with only sporadic internet access for a while, but I'll check my email whenever possible. It should be a lot of fun, and cant wait to get started

I've just got hold of an IBM X31 thinkpad to use while I'm away, which was very easy to get gentoo running on thanks to Henrik's guide. It's a great machine, exactly what I was looking for.
