Considerando nuestra forma de hablar, estuve tratando de recordar alguna película que yo hubiera visto de nuestro cine venezolano y que fuera digna de mención. Así que recordé "Oriana" de Fina Torres.

No encontraremos muchos diálogos en ella sino más bien muchos silencios, pues las imágenes y la música lo hacen todo.
(We don't find many dialogues into the film but many silences, due to the images and the music do everythig.)
Con respecto a los paisajes y locación, para un venezolan, aquellos escenarios son de lo más familiares, sobre todo si uno ha vivido en la costa y en alguna casona colonial de la época.
(Speaking about the scenary and location, for a Venezuelan, those ones are too familiar, over all if you have lived in the coast line and moreover, in a typical colony farm house.)
Hermosa película, llena de significativos detalles acerca de nuestra cultura y temperamento.
(Beautiful film, full of suggestive details about our culture and temperamental nature.)
La historia está basada en el cuento original de "Oriane, tia Oriane"
de Marvel Moreno (Editions des Femmes) y la bellísima música es original del venezolano Eduardo Marturet, quien también la ejecuta;la música complementaria pertenece a Beethoven (sonata para piano nº 4 y variación para violoncelo y piano), Faure ("Elegia" para violoncelo) y Bach (suite para violoncelo).

Marvel Moreno (Editions des Femmes) and its beautiful music is original from Eduardo Marturet, who also plays it; the complementary music is belong to Beethoven (piano sonata nº 4 y variation for violoncello and piano), Faure ("Elegia" for violoncello) and Bach (suite for violoncello).
La calidad del video no es la mejor, pero para quienes la vimos en el cine es conmovedora.
(The video quality is not the best -English subtitles, good enough for you can get the argument, but for who saw it before over there, in the theatre, is really hearty touched.)

But that film has to be watched several times. It's quite subtle but reflects extraordinarily well our culture. I love it seriously.

It's a relief with Linux...
OTOH, I'm downloading that Oriana's file to my computer using Chromiun. I have added that YouTube downloader, using Chromium 'tools' option
