Whose final exam again??..oh, yeah.I forgot. Its mine and it will start tomorrow . My 1st paper is tomorrow, two more on thursday, then one more on saturday and the last will be on sunday. Then im going hooooooooome , cant wait to see my newly born nephew! . Plus my 3rd bro had safely arrived from Bangladesh yesterday (he already said that he's aiming for Moscow this year, Insyaallah). So, double awesome!!!
Anyway, my best wishes to everyone for the new year of 2012. May it bring along more happiness and prosperity upon us all. And hopefully in anything we do, be it work, study, commitment etc, we do it better this year. And for me, the new semester which will begin in February is kind of a whole new sub-chapter since i will start taking my major courses and that would be mathematic . Hope i haven't lost my touch. Numbers was really fun years ago back in school but surely it gets rusty after a long break. Hmm...i better sharpen it back before the term started (IF im not too busy running around with my niece and nephews though). k then, will continue later. Got mountain of notes to read. Later!

I received a text from my mom this morning telling that a close friend of our family passed away earlier today. So my parents right this moment are paying a visit to their house and also to attend her funeral. I wish i could be there accompanying my mom but unfortunately i am where i am now . Its sad and disappointing that only my parents and my eldest bro able to pay them a visit in such a situation. My 2nd bro is currently visiting his wife's family and be back tomorrow. Me and 4th bro also not able to come and my 3rd bro currently on his annual routine 'outing', this year is Bangladesh. But despite where we are at the moment, im sure everyone sends whatever there should be sent. Al-Fatihah.
As i stated just now, that family have been close to mine from way back then. The couple and my dad are both from Johore and been transferred to the state for their posting in early 70's if im not mistaken. So they kind of an elder bro and sis to my dad. And the match of my parents was more or less thanks to them since my mom was a student of the late aunt then. Not long ago my 2nd,3rd&4th bro and me were all studying at a boarding school in the town where they resided. In fact one of their son started teaching at the school during my 4th bro and me were there. The kindness and warmth of the family can really be felt over the years. I still able to clearly picture the late aunt's warm smile each and every time we pay them a visit since i was a kid, up until the last time i saw her last September during our Eid visit. And im sure that smile had warmed not only me and my family but a lot more other peoples who ever had an opportunity knowing her. She was sick for months and been admitted to the hospital more than once before. The last time i saw her last Eid, she looks weak but despite her condition, the warm expression on her face is still comforting as ever. And among other things, that will be something for which she will be constantly remembered in peoples' prayers. For all her kindness no matter in what form it was given to others, i pray to ALLAH that she will be placed among the pious. AMIN.

I know thing called 'adjective' is usually abstract and everyone is free to determine to what extent it actually define the thing we're referring to. Take 'awesome' as an example. I think even two peoples said that this particular thing is awesome, still the degree of awesomeness they really mean is different. Haha..talking about this reminded me of last tuesday when i had a lecture on 'Grading and reporting'. Kind of similar. When you put 'Good' on someone's work, how good exactly you mean by that. like 80% good?90% good? or just a fraction over the line separating good and not good?hmm...so many ambiguity around us huh?. So back to what actually i mean to say, i know awesome is abstract, and i also know there is such thing as self-preference(oh, i kind of fan of this concept.is this a concept??? ), that is in fact what i am doing now. so what i've been wondering is, how come peoples go gaga over some unawesome/lame/ugh! song such as...well,there's a lot out there. There are few noticeable names that often came up when talking about an unawesome songs. regardless what kind of song at the other end of the comparison, those names are indeed eminently mentioned. of course talent vs. looks will be debated here.
And nowadays there are tons of reality shows competing to fill every segment in almost every channel available for us viewers. Apparently the number of peoples who want to be a became an ever-increasing entity in term of its size. Honestly, there's this one particular kids show on tv which is really ugh!..Whats with the kids showing off their talent in an annoying way. I wonder if the parents really wants to see their kids that way years from now. I wish that particular show can be banished from my niece and nephew's tv. Or no tv at all, hmm...there's a thought! . I practically grew up without one and im definitely grateful my parents made that choice. Friend of my bro told him that he once sat beside a boy in the masjid during a short talk before isya prayer, when the speaker said something that we're all a 'makhluk', that boy said,"are we 'makhluk'?, isnt 'makhluk' is like that 'makhluk asing'?". See how powerful it had influenced us especially the kids. Parenting is indeed a GREAT thing but it is not that easy. Say the right thing, do the right thing.
Anyway, this is one of those awesome thing i meant. How come some peoples choose an unawesome stuff over this???by the way, i like Allison dress .
Some might think somehow things i mentioned on my page are contradict. Yeah, i can be that weird.
Note: The part when they sing, "why, cant i..." remind me of one of the nice mellow song in the movie The secret life of words. I still haven't got that song either up till now

When 24hours feels insufficient

Hmm..is this my 1st time using purple here??
Anyway, midterm break on its end already. Apart from not going to class, it doesn't feel like a break at all. 1st, i officially ended my break on monday, decided to come back early and stay at my bro's and finish whatever there to be finished. Im sure i will do absolutely nothing, i mean my works, if i stay at home for the rest of the week. What's with Umar & Anas giggling, wrestling and laughing around the house??such a temptation i cant resist to join up.Oh, miss them already . I haven't been home since the term started in September. Not actually a very long time but recently at home i was so at how clear Anas pronouncing words now
Back to the top about me whining on how the numbers on the clock should be extended to mmm ...15??.Impossible i know, unless i want to develop a new standard time, but then i have to be anywhere other than the 24 longitudinal areas we had around the globe. Hmmm..that possibly means Pluto. Ugh..forget it. Since my mom done with her study, she always complaining she doesn't have time for reading due to a busy schedule and workloads. This conversation happened last Ramadhan, on one afternoon when my mom hang out in my room. you know..for a girly chat..muahahhahha;
Me: Im now reading this book, look..hehehehe..almost finish!(showing her my eat,pray,love)
Mom: -sigh-...got a lot of works to be done, i bought many books already but none of them i read so far.
Me: mom,you know what?my senior back in hornbill's land said,"dont wait for a free time, find that time."
Mom: hmmm...by the way, when are you going to help me changing the curtains? we'll have eid soon.
Me: mom, i kind of busy now.i still have 1,2,3...3 sets of word search books to do.It's for you, Qari's mom and Anas's mom. and Anas's dad asks for his own copy too. (pointing at the papers piling up on a scruffy floor)
Mom: (walking out of my room)well, dont wait for a free time, find that time.hmm??
Me: ..ouch
to be continue...dinner time..

Hoho...Tarja's here!.1st ever Nightwish's song embedded on my page. This song is awesome as everyone can see, but little(oh,make that nothing!) did i know before it actually held an unfathomable meaning, a significant pages of history from way back then. Since i know this song, i think it's awesome for its music, Tarja's voice and everything evolves around those two. But now it is more than just a song, i honestly heartened listening to this song after knowing a little about the story conveyed through. You almost can feel, even it might be way way way less than how those peoples felt at that time. I came across this earlier;

It expresses so well what these people must have felt. It's a shame that humans can't learn to respect eachother and that greed is more powerfull than love. there's so much the world could have learned from these people if it had just taken the time to listen. The wealth of the world is measured in harmony and diversity, not gold money and land. Sadly the great many of the our species has forgotten that. And the sad thing is that this song is so similar to the reality of a great many people today. It's not just something in the past.

Just finished my 3nd mug of coffee and feel like floating. Thanks a lot to my INNOCREATA assignments who successfully made me stay up all night engrossed which made me totally forgot that midterm break starts today, well after my lecture ended this afternoon of course.And i haven't pack anything yet..fantastic. Well, since my head feel slightly woozy and before the cranky-ness say hi, some portuguese might help..lol.

I watched Fast Five the other day, yeah i know it was a sensation MONTHS ago, but since im not a cinema person, i just wait for the proper torrent-like they said, "sharing is caring" . It was great, i think i like it more than any of the previous. The 'teamwork' reminding me of Italian job, Ocean Eleven/twelve/Thirteen etc. Then i recall a line from movie Swordfish long ago, Travolta said something like,"In film, the good guy always win, and the bad guy lost. But it's about moral (not about who's smarter)"...Come to think of it, maybe that's right, at least the who's-smarter part, not the stealing part though. Hope i get that line right. And at the end of the Velozes e Furiosos 5 movie when everyone apparently leading a happy and free life like they wanted, there's this spanish+portuguese song which is awesome! Haha..im a sucker for such stuff. Me gusta ésta canción! . Initially i want to put the vid here but it's kind of scary, way scarier than Tarja's headbang, plus it's not really the version they used in the movie..opss..my bad,it actually the same..huhu. So here it is, Don Omar Ft. Lucenzo - Dança Kuduro

Not sure whether Leo&Giba is the original singer of this song because i found the same song but sung by other artist like ALG, marcos&Julio etc. The lyric somehow varies but the dance step for the chorus part is similar . Anyway, i like this version. I didnt found any leo&Giba's live performance for this song(one with a good quality), so i put that one below, Libera Extravasa sung by Marcos&Julio but they invited Leo&Giba to the stage halfway the song. Marcos&julio looks like a college boy. Are they?? And it hits me just now, Leo's face is like my english lecturer back in that island . Before i know this song, the only Portuguese song i ever heard was RBD's, they had some songs translated to portuguese and of course they speak that language a lot whenever they're performing in front of Portuguese audience. Kind of notice the más-mais, corazón-coração, obrigado instead of gracias, "todos somos iguais"..i remember Maite said that just before they sing Me Voy .it's noticeable though for me spanish is easier to pronounce .
