Ive had my iphone for about 6 months now and recently had to restore it to factory settings, (against my wishes) You see the problem was that it just would not reboot. All i kept getting was the gray apple symbol every time i hit the power button. If this ever happens to you you can plug your iphone into your computer and hold the home button until you see the usb cable connecting to itunes on your screen. This is the restore mode for the iphone. It will restore your iphone and update it with the latest software. Which is fine unlesss you have it jailbroken which, in this case you will lose cydia and rock and all the apps that are associated with them. Also the network carrier will revert back to At&t. Now i'm searching for a way to jailbreak the 3.1.3 software or at least change my carrier back to t-mobile. Any Thoughts?
