In about 12 hours, the biggest scientific experiment ever will take place. Cern is remaking (or atlaeast trying to) the collision that in theory is the reason particles got mass. Protons is sent in each direction with almost the speed of light. And if they collide, we might get the answer to the making of matter, or as some belive, we all die and the earth is destroyed.
