Gabriela Beatriz Sabatini was born in May 1970. Her parents are Osvaldo Sabatini / Beatriz Garofalo Sabatini. She grew up playing tennis at the River Plate Tennis Club. She won her first competition at the age of 8 and was thought as being a very talented tennis player. At 12 years old she joined the Patricio Apey's tennis institute in Miami. In 1984, she won the French Open Junior title and came to be World Junior Number 1. Sabatini had an amazing senior career and is still famous in her home country.
