spelling, surprise
Now, this word, "surprise", is often spelt wrong (without the first "r"). This is probably because of how it is generally pronounced, but this is no longer acceptable!

When I was in London last week, I saw a sign for a shop called "Surprise, Surprise" ... except, it was spelt wrong. But only once. Not both times, which made it all the more ludicrous!
So now I am naming and shaming this shop for its half-bad spelling!
If you have any examples of bad spelling or grammar, please send pictures! You will get full credit for it, and also the satisfaction of knowing you're helping improve the language!

spelling, language, Grammar Police, punctuation
...
Someone had to stand up and protect the rights of the English language. People have become lazy, spelling ridiculously phonetically and abandoning punctuation. What to do?
The Grammar Police is here to protect the language!
On this site, the language will be brought back to its glory, and there may be a bit of naming and shaming ...

So join in! Send me examples of bad grammar or spelling (a picture tells a thousand shameful words!) and we will succeed in protecting the English language!

Opera, Web, 2.0
A post on Daniel Goldman's
Opera Watch (thanks for the strap!

) got me thinking that Opera really does need a new logo. For a browser which is so advanced and deals directly with the new "Web 2.0", shouldn't it have a logo which fits in with these new times on the Internet?
I did a quick mock-up, an idea of what it could look like.
Opera needs a 2.0 logo fast!
