Weird thing happened at the bookstore the other day. I was sitting in Starbucks, waiting for my daughter to be ready to check out, and the women at the next table began to talk about their husbands. After bitching about husbands in general, one of them commented that she hoped she would outlive her husband so she could have some fun and enjoy life before she died. Whoa! Some big resentment there. Got me to wondering how many wives feel that way about husbands and marriage in general. I know that sometimes I get sick of all my husbands ideosyncracies, but still! So everyone, what are your thoughts? Is marriage worth sticking out if this is the way you feel? Seems risky to hope you'll outlive someone so you can finally enjoy life. I would rather go ahead and split up first, but that's just me. Thoughts anyone?
