What is new?

See some new photos under
"GERMANY coaching".

Today I arrived in Cologne, where I will have a Christmas Party tomorrow. As I had some time, I went to the Dome of Cologne, climbed up 509 steps and took some photos.

The last days I spent in Heidelberg and Mainz.

The Csárdásfürstin

Die Csárdásfürstin, Operettentheater Salzburg. Direction Lucia Meschwitz, Setting Christine Sadjina-Höfer, Theatre Paiting Georg Klingersberger and Christine Sadjina-Höfer.
It´s just in production. The photos shows some parts of the paintings. The premiere will be in January 2010.

Salzburg - The Parc of Hellbrunn.

Late autumn in the Parc of Hellbrunn. What a wonderful weather. People enjoy the last warmth in the sun. On the other side of the Parc, the Christmas Market has started.

An autumn day on the Nockstein

The last time I was on the Nockstein, was in summer. Today the weather was nearly fine, I had some hours to go out and so the chance to take some autumn fotos was good. When going down I had the luck to see some chamois.

GERMANY "Coaching"

Today I want to start a new run on my blog. I will call it "GERMANY Coaching". - Coaching, because my job is to train, to coach German BMW dealers in the fleet business.
So I have to travel a lot. Every week I stay in new cities, sleep in different hotels and see a lot of new things. As one of my hobbies is to take pictures, and because of my job I have not enough time to to it, I have decided to take my camera with me and to take some photos on different places every week.
Let´s start...

Salzburg at night

I wanted to test my new Nikon D700 at night.
All fotos are taken with ASA 3200, with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AF-D, the Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D AF and without any tripod.

All Saints´Day

All Saints´Day,
it´s raining and cold, cheerless and clammy. People go to the churchyards, they bring some flowers and light up candles...
winter will come soon.

Hola Mallorca!

Port de Sóller.

Hola Mallorca!
Island in the South of Europe. One of the Baleares. Famous for it´s beauty, the colours, the light. Most of us think of the "Ballermann". ("Ballermann" is the name of a sort of bar on the beach on the island of Mallorca. This place is stereotypical for loads of young Germans getting blissfully pissed every day of their vacation by drinking tequila by the bucket (no kidding). So "Ballermann" stand for sort of this partying approach to life, where nothing else but getting stoned with your mates and finding a girl to sleep with at night is important any more.)
If you rent a car and if you drive only some kilometers away from the tourist centers, you will find the typical, the true Mallorca. We have found a lot of places without tourist, places where you only meet Spanish farmers. See my pictures and enjoy it.

Ruperti Kirchtag, Salzburg.

Every year in september, Salzburg celebrates the Ruperti Kirchtag. The patronal feast day celebration starts on the 24th september and last five days. Specific are the old carrousels, the old big wheel and other typical huts.

Summer in the City

Summer in Salzburg means a lot of tourists, heat, high-culture and a good glass of wine.
