WOC 2008 - almost there

Behind me: lots of hard training, many theoretical sessions with Czech maps, good disussions about route choices, dozens of dates with my favourite hill, some downs - lots of ups, many lonely hours in the gym and out in the forrest, enjoyable hard trainings with good friends, new and positive inputs thanks to some important people, more technical training than ever, a lot of trainings made with WOC-distances playing in my mind. The last hard trainings have been done and I am happy to know that my preparations have been as good as possible!
Waiting for me: 10 days of exciting and challenging World Championships!! If you have read Anne Margrete Hausken's article about WOC , you know a delicious menu is waiting for us. I will leave out the mid-course, the middle distance, but I am prepared to enjoy the rest of the menu for all it is worth
. Every course will be a spicy challenge and I am looking forward to solve the problems the course setters give us!
The menu that has been made for me consist out of sprint (Q+F 13.7), long (Q 15.7, F 19.7) and relay (20.7).
My goal for the WOC is very simple: bring my mind, eyes and legs with me into the forrest and use all three parts all the way from start to finish. Then orienteering makes fun!
Yes, the WOC can come, it is definitely time to rock
