Lytchett Carnival

It was the village carnival this weekend. Julia was on duty with the Guides selling cakes and I had my Parish Councillor hat on meeting with the villagers to discuss plans for the village centre, recycling and neighbourhood watch.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself, although was exhausted after a whole afternoon on my feet talking and debating local issues!
Unfortunately, as I was "on duty" I didn't get much chance to take photos, but here's a few Milly and I took (click on the slide show to view the lot):

Julia, Milly and I went to a 50th birthday last night - there was lots of dance and everyone had a very nice time.

We've had a Curryoake (curry and a karoake) so need to step it up a little, and last Saturday we had a Spudoake (baked potato and a karoake) with some friends round our house.
