Lunch at the top of BT Tower

I attended a work function at BT Tower today and we had lunch at the top of the Tower (which was OK until the top started moving - very disconcerting). And if you don't believe me, I have a certificate to prove it!
The lift to the top travels at 22mph and there's a wooshing of wind sound as you travel up (and from the bottom whilst the lift is in use). Dave the lift operator reckons that he was six foot tall when he first started the job (he's probably about 5.5ft tall now
. It makes your ears pop as you go up (Dave reckons his don't pop anymore - I don't know what that means).

Plaisterer’s Hall

Attended a meeting today at Plaisterer’s Hall. It's a hall that's been around for a couple of years and burnt down a couple of times. The ceiling with a large chandellier was most impressive.
