The Light Side

I blogged a week or so ago that some new flag poles had appeared in Parliament Square and the protestors had been moved off the grass.

I passed through the Square this week, and they'd gone again!

If you've ever wondered, which I'm sure you haven't, which was the quickest route to Westminster from the City (Moorgate/Old Street are) then I can say with confidence and from experience that it is marginally quicker to go via the Jubilee line!

I can tell you this as my colleague Clive challenged me to a race across London as we were going to the same meeting the other day. He thought it was quicker via the District Line, but I thought Jubilee line. No this was no mean challenge given Clive's expertise with London Underground, but nonetheless I was victorious but only by about 2 minutes.
