Today's the big day! Marcus and Nance are getting married !!!!! Hooray!!!!
Yesterday, we had all the family round for a pre-wedding party. Julia cooked some delicious curry and casserole dishes; we played Cranium and finished the night off with some rather over-excited Karoake (videos of which will appear on YouTube at some point)

family, cake, weekend
I've had a lovely weekend with niece this weekend. Her mum and Julia went away for the weekend together (it was a weekend away that Tracey had won in a competition), and so I looked after my niece.
We have had a great time: we've played with Barbies, we went for a walk to see the horses (although she was asleep by the time we got there) and we've done painting, but the highlight of the weekend has been making cup cakes and icing them.

family, animals, Marwell Zoo
Julia and Tracey took the kids to Marwell zoo Tuesday. Thanks to a competition prize won by my niece they got in pretty much free.

family, Spongebob Squarepants, cake
Spent the day at Michelle and Steve's today to celebrate my niece's 4th birthday. We had a great time and all three of my nieces have come back with us to stay the week.

We played hide and seek with my 2 year old niece the other day. My son thought it would be fun to try and hide all 6ft of himself in one of our kitchen cupboards...
Funnily enough, despite his legs sticking out like this, my niece couldn't "find" him

We have Soo and her son staying for the weekend at the moment. Yesterday Sharon and her children, Maureen, Tracey, Marcus and Nance came over and joined us for lunch.

comedy, family, Comedy Store, Landmarc
...
The other night Marcus, Tracey, Julia and I went to Landmarc in Bournemouth for a Comedy Store presentation.
We saw a couple of comedians plus a compere. The compere was a little rubbish, but the warm up was brilliant and the main comic was pretty funny too. Unfortunately I can't remember their names so can't tell you who they were.
The venue is an old church converted into a theatre and bar.

Marcus and Nancy (over from Aus) held a gathering of their friends and family at the Litten Tree in Bournemouth Saturday night. It looked like they had a great time catching up with all the people they've not seen since they moved out to Sydney 2 and half (or so) years ago.
