The Light Side

We had a chilled day yesterday. We still had lots of Christmas and party food left so Maureen came over with some of her friends to help us eat it up.

We took the dogs for a walk in Wareham Forest in the afternoon



There were some beautiful skies with the sun setting





As it got darker, it produced some interesting effects. Particularly noticeable was the blueness of the reflection in water. It wasn't particularly a blue sky day, but the light and the flash from the camera made for a blue tinge on the photo

Took these two photos the other week (when it was cold and not raining!). At the back of the house the moon was shining...



and out the front, the sun was still setting
