Useless Ululations and Random Ruminations

Well, the generator is fixed, the light no longer lights up. The lights no longer dim whilst sitting at intersections. The radio doesn't cause the lights to dim either. However, once again, as soon as I fix one problem another crops up! It's so frustrating.

I've fixed the BLESSED generator and now the oil light is lighting up every time I stop. That light is immediately to the left of the generator light; it's almost as if the electricity is just jumping the 1/4 inch between the wires just to mess with me. It's right beside the generator light and it comes on at the same time the generator light used to: only when sitting at or slowing for an intersection. Hmmmm....

Now to decide, replace the oil sending unit (relatively simple) or oil pump (relatively difficult)? Oil sending unit (easier, but less likely to be the problem) or oil pump (harder, but probably the problem)? Or, re-machine the heads? My neighbor thinks it's burning oil outta the muffler, which would indicate heads. Yuck!

I think I'm going with option four: pray for a miraculous healing. . . .
