Mario

, ,

Even I played the original Mario Brothers game. I don't remember much about it other than that flippin' music never quit and the kids liked it loud.

Super Mario Bros. theme - Super Mario Bros.

Thankfully there's headphones and I don't hear it anymore.

HELLS YEAH!!!! :headbang:

I still own my NES...I play Mario like once a week. I walk around the house whistling the theme. I refer to my son as "Luigi" just to piss him off.

Mario pwns!!!

Best post EVER! :headbang:

Never figured out how to get into Mario, which pretty much leaves me on the outs with him.

Shaunak 24. November 2008, 19:04

Mario is one of the few games I have bothered to finish. :-)

Nerak 24. November 2008, 23:41

If you're on the outs with Mario, you're on the outs with me.

noah counte 25. November 2008, 01:39

Maybe I'm not on the outs, maybe I'm just not on the ins?

Nerak 25. November 2008, 02:35

That's different. More like a neutral thing...like Canada. :left:

noah counte 25. November 2008, 05:05

Canada? Canada has an opinion on everything - it's just that no one pays attention.

Switzerland, maybe?

Nerak 25. November 2008, 05:25

Homer: Doh!

*ducks & covers*

noah counte 25. November 2008, 05:49

Hehehe. Canada is our best friend. :D

Nerak 25. November 2008, 11:03

Other than the fact that it produced Bryan Adams and Brian Boitano. :right:

What's up with the Brians? :eyes: Is it some secret Canadian society or something, eh?

noah counte 25. November 2008, 13:24

The League of Canadian Brians and Bryans could show you the inner sanctum, and explain the whole sordid story to you. Of course, then they'd have to Zamboni you into a hockey ice in on of the Territories...

Nerak 25. November 2008, 14:32

Tabmartel 25. November 2008, 14:45

Homer: Doh! My father, my cousin, my nephew, and my brother are all Brians. None of them figure skate. lol

Nerak 25. November 2008, 15:01

noah counte 25. November 2008, 16:34

Do any of them drive a Zamboni?

Tabmartel 25. November 2008, 16:52

Nope, but my nephew Robbie does.

Nerak 25. November 2008, 16:52

LMAO!!!!! Hahahahaahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

noah counte 25. November 2008, 17:19

I'm sure hockey rinks are the third largest employer in Canada, after the Canadian government and Tim Hortons.

Tabmartel 25. November 2008, 18:06

:D Canadian Government only employs french speaking Canadians.
Tim Hortons is every Canadian teenagers first employment experience.
It's how we initiate our kids into the work force here.

noah counte 25. November 2008, 18:28

I read somewher that Tim Horton's employs more people than McDonalds. I'll have to see if i can find that again.

Tabmartel 25. November 2008, 18:52

 I would believe it. Mostly because nobody wants to flip burgers for a living.

noah counte 25. November 2008, 18:59

I'm not sure that standing over donut oil is better for your complexion, but I won't argue. I managed to stay out of fast food (so far).

Quinnuendo 25. November 2008, 19:06

Mario is pretty much of an icon, though I haven't played almost any of the games.

I've played Alex Kid in Miracle World on a Sega Master system a lot  I've played again on an emulator not so long ago.
It has a longer melody, so it doesn't repeat that often, and has several special melodies at some points :D

Tabmartel 25. November 2008, 19:09

Acctually when I was employed by tim hortons I stood over the donut batter, being the baker. I worked night shifts and I was paid 75$ a bake, wich typically took three hours. I always did double bakes, so I made 150.00 a night. Not too shabby for eighteen years old!

noah counte 25. November 2008, 19:14

That's pretty good money, isn't it? I could live on that.

Tabmartel 25. November 2008, 19:22

Yeah it's really good money. I gave it up for a better job working at the Canadian bank note.

noah counte 25. November 2008, 20:48

Onward and upward!

:D
