Up and Coming

What I have found recenly are a couple of very interesting photography web sites. The two that I'm going to tell you about are "up and coming" almost arrived and very imaginative in the work they produce.

- UCE Magazine - Editorial: Narcisism
- Group Show 'Punch' 05 MOP Gallery, Sydney
- Gallery 72 Erskirne Show - World Reportage for Childrens Cancer Research
to name a few. What makes him interesting is the range of styles, clients and photos that he's produced. I highly recommend you check him out.
I found Andrey Razoomovsky a Russian photographer purely by luck. I was looking for an image of a tall glass of milk and one of his images came up in the search.
Unfortunately for me I don't read Russian, but I was able to check out the online portfolio. There is a whole series of milk dresses under his projects folder.
Razooma is the name of the website and unless some slight nudity bothers you - check it out!
The imagery is intelligent, imaginative and without a doubt interesting.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of actual news about President Obama. Oh sure there was a kerfuffle about his choice of mustard on a hot dog - but that is hardly news. What I'm seeing a lot of online are images similiar to the one above. I've also been reading a lot of main stream news articles about the U.S. President that are little more than fluff pieces and hardly merit being called news. So my question of the week at least for myself is - has the American public ended the honeymoon, are they now expecting results?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I sure wouldn't want to be in his position, not for all the tea in China.

I'm not much of a milk drinker, but I may start.
Kerfuffle is a great word. It looks every bit as good as it sounds.

Kerfuffle was about the only word I could think of to show just how ridiculous the news is. Seriously, does it matter if he chooses dijon over regular mustard?
News outlets must be dying for a story.
