What's Up

, ,

Okay - so most of you can't and won't be anywhere near here this weekend. That doesn't stop me from teasing you with some upcoming events.

Tonight: 7:00PM The Proclaimers followed by Arrested Development at 8:30 PM

Cost of this: FREE

Want to know what else is happening that is free? Then check out the Bluesfest in the Byward Market schedule.

Also coming up KISS next Wednesday where they are predicting 50 thousand people at the festival. I'm not a fan, but even I may be there for the spectacle.

there is another one in Astoria where the majority of the Greek community lives, if I recall that one is on the 15th-20th of August,
we do honor both!

and of course we honor the "baklava" even more!

Having been a mild fan for years, I saw Craig and Charlie at Usher Hall in Edinburgh a few years back. I soon discovered that many of the songs have a much deeper - pro-Scots meaning, than what I was able to figure out living here in the Colonies. It was an amazing show, with everyone in the crowd fully engaged for every song. I saw them again later in Vancouver, and it was disappointing, as us Vancouverites don't know the songs or the meanings. Still a great show. Enjoy It

I've been to one Kiss concert, and that was great. A fantastic show, even though I only knew two or three of the songs they played.

I was walking back from my Grandma's place to Mugs', and I could hear Kiss loud and clear, even better I could see the fire from the show. Way cool!

Mmmmm baklava!

You are too kind!

I've been busy- My grandma is suffering with Colon cancer, and when I'm not at Mugs' place, I'm at her place caring for her, or camping with my kids. I've been doing my best to make this summer a memorable one for them.
I hope you are having a blast yourself!
