Silly is Good

Many of you know - I am a fan of "different", you could say odd-ball items and news. Some of my favourite things are way out there and I prefer funny, happy or just plain silly news. There aren't enough laughs in the world and if I can find them, I'll share them.

Everyone has seen the garter belt cans, if you haven't just follow the link to the original article I found this at.

Interesting can isn't it. Advertisers pulled out all the stops on this one. There's only one little problem I can think of which side do you "pop" first and if I get greedy and go for both will it end up spilling all over?

You can find more specialty cans over at DJMICK. No clue if any are photoshopped, chances are a few will be but they are still interesting.

Hey, hey, been busy and had little or no time to do much here other than occasionally pop on to see what everyone is doing. I don't always log in, if you haven't seen my name on your blog page that is why; doesn't mean I haven't been reading and chuckling along.

Today though I have got to share these Cat finds with you.

A most awesome desktop wallpaper! Who doesn't like long cat?

Socrates the puddy tat, look at the size of him!

At a whopping 22lb, the black and white heavyweight in Jenny Doig's arms is more than double the size of a normal cat.

I can't write anything about Socrates better than it's already been done.

He's got no "get up and go" his owner says. Duh!

Who the hell does this to an animal! Absolute cruelty and absolute stupidity.

The female tan and black striped feline was found wandering the streets of Philadelphia wrapped head to foot in duct tape. spotted by a woman who quickly called the SPCA.

A humane officer from the SPCA found her wandering the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia and carted her up to safety.

The tape was wrapped around her from neck to tail. Armed with a great deal of patience - SPCA officers were able to remove it completely, saying she is now doing well.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for the sticky attack.

and now for a little Happy Cat

Is nuttiness even a word? Who cares!

Perusing the INTERNET, you can, at least once every five minutes can come across something totally freakin' out there. I'm no exception.

Here for your viewing pleasure and enlightenment (yea that's it, enlightenment) are a few fine examples of just plain dumb.

Starting off with something simple first, here we have the Seal N Save Food Storage Kit.

A bunch of plastic bags and a reject air pump from a balloon factory. All this can be your's for the low low price of only $14.99.

Just place food in the special reusable bags, tighten seal with clip & pump the air out. Use for foods stored in the fridge or freezer. It prevents freezer burn for up to 2 years

Who keeps food for 2 years?

The latest and one of the worst fashion crazes - Jackets made of Blow-up dolls. Is it just me or does any one else find this idea more than a little creepy?

“I customize existing tracksuit tops with parts of the blow-up dolls: the head, the breasts, the vagina, the anus. These dolls are so ugly and vulgar that turning them into something beautiful has become a challenge for me. The doll is a means to convey something else.”

Something tells me this designer Sander Reijgers is very lonely man.

Acress Kirsten Dunst was recently spotted dorking it up in Tokyo.

I won't pretend to understand this cos-play thing - whatever floats your boat.

Have you ever wondered what happened to all those Disney princesses?

Cinderella, Belle, Ariel and Jasmine; what could possibly happen to them?

This one will be short and quick. No descriptions from me about any of the following images, I wouldn't want to put thoughts in your head until after you've seen them.

Totally oblivious to his surroundings - that must be one helluva cupcake.

Aren't those just about the coolest rubber boots you've seen? Sure beats the boring old black things I grew up with.

Not so sure I want to eat "Crap" flavoured anything! Then again - who decided it was crap flavoured and how do they know what crap tastes like?

Sammich maker. Kitchen appliances aren't they great.

If Frank only knew how true that statement is!
