FE001 TOP-DOWN

OK, so my drawing skills are not the best, but here is the top-down view of the FE001...

The drawing is split; the top half shows the kart floor, while the lower half shows the bodywork.

Hopefully, in a few weeks time i will start producing 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) models.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask...

not sure on the engine air in-take, reminds me of older cars, ones with triangle in-takes...

the front wing is interesting, seems to have changed considerably since the first 09wing used in testing last year. looks better than the Renaults god awful triangle wedge of a wing (however they may prove me wrong).

the low (fat) nose is a change from the high thin one, similar to the Williams 09 car. i think the idea is to create a low pressure area under the nose, causing low drag down force.

the front wheel brake ducts seem to have a vertical plane, i'm guessing this produces a cleaner air flow in the ducts, to the radiator in-takes and bodywork. the radiator in-takes look heavily cut away.

also note, the car is white, this is because of the low wasp in-take, just like baby flamingos...
