i compose but i don't play piano much less good at it. i remember when i had the opportunity to touch those beautiful ivory keys and make sounds of it, i was awestruck. awestruck with the hammer action and the mechanic of the piano.. that's all it takes for me to go balumpa on it . eventually it made me bored to play, much less to learn it. oddest thing , i prefer to sleep by the piano and lament. i always love jazz and classical piano music. i am amazed at the capabilities of those sounds coming from these possibilities. one finger made a note. add another one, it creates a feel. now try another ; another combination it gives u a scene. amazing . so it is not breaking the boundaries of music that i am after ,.. it is 'painting' the music that's what i am into. i may sound like a 'duh' to you, and i don't really care since my thing is again to find another theory and scenes to create. smiles , i love and i love dearly.. please don't think i am a selfish bastard that can't get it up (because i can). the possibilities are deafening. the recordings of these compositions has great meaning to me. it taught me how to get in touch with myself and others. the chordings and harmonies from this instrument which eventually would lead to the progression of the songs (indeed) are all improvised. i am a big believer of melodies. and i can't stand predictability. fair to say jazz saved my life . i would have died of boredom long time ago. splat!. like that. this is how 'theories' came about. the idea of music. how it is being made (by my standard anyway ), impossible structures and foundations . two hands are not enough. some of these compositions would need three hands . yikes! i started the project about six months ago and the idea was to compose a double cd and be done with it maybe remix it to dance versions and bla bla and now it seems that i can't stop making these songs. i love simplicity. i crave for -> it's two plus two and it turns out to be four, but when i get 'starry eyed' , i would imposed complexity within the simplicity itself in this case... the sound of the piano. only. are these music for sale? no . the progressions are. let me explain . the most important thing in this world , one has to eat. bla bla bla. but it's true . and i am a firm believer what ever that u heard from me are not for sale . it's free. but it is the format of how it is being transferred. let me get into details. i know it is so done up trying to sell the music over the internet and big record store because in some of the countries it didn't even exist (they have other things to worry about). do u remember then how music is being presented as song 1 to the end? do u remember then ? ahhh the beauty of albums.... the format of each songs mp3 player has taken these type of listening (album listening ) away. none of these artists are being listened to anymore. no one had the time. no one wants to pay for it. me neither. LOL. so the idea is.. progressions. each album from me would be limited and of different progression with the playlist to kick up your collections. not to mention the pamphlets of how about these compositions got theirs' births and ideas - indeed. now... i urge you not to think about dollar and cents since the making of these music were never with that in mind. these are not the reason why i made them. i made them since i want to see what can i achieved from these musical notes. on the page of 'todays news ' u can download and listen to these music. if u have any questions or just to bug me or to chat me since u r also have nothing better to do .. hehhehe email me. i would love to hear from you. big smiles ya?
