I found some maps online and printed them off so the
girls ( my grand daughters) could actually see where our international
friends live in relation to us, and here's why...
Leah brought home one of those school fundraiser
things, where they have to go out and get orders for
cookie dough, etc, and a portion of the proceeds goes
to the school. I had told her to try going down to
Linda's and see if she wanted to buy any. She says,
"Which Linda? Your neighbor Linda or Linda from
Wales?"
Don'tcha just love it! I had to laugh.

My wife was born in Vienna and raised in Innsbruck and now lives in Iowa, but she has a Swedish name (Dagmar). Oddly enough, one of her friends is from Sweden, lived in the US and now lives in Innsbruck, and has a German name.
