Goddammit exhausted

This is probably my fourth attempt to start a blog. Really, it's not exactly Virginia Woolf-level insight when you get home this late from work (or a gig), and really I think if you're distributing something for public consumption, you'd best have the meaning of life (or step-by-step for cold fusion) as ready reference.
Also, that whole thing about "be careful what you say online" skeeves me out. Up until last month, I worked for an Ivy-League University (Top 4, mmm-kay?) and always worried that posting blogs about the trials and tribulations of working as a mid-30's librarian ('Next-Gen' sounds ok, and mid 30's means age) had potential to get me into trouble.
So now with the new job I'm a librarian AND IT Liason, so now that I have brain activity again, I feel somewhat liberated.
I have a bit more of a commute now (hence the title of this initial post), but crises if I don't feel sooooo good about this new opportunity (I think I'm a mere ten days in now, and just starting to get the hang of the work).
So, big who cares announcement: Librarian by day, Black Metal musician by . . . er . . . not-day (don't worry, no corpsepaint cliches).
Intrigued?
No?
Awesome.
I didn't notice you, either.
What we're going to discuss here is just about everything South of Heaven: metal, music, literature, the information sciences and technology field, politics, anything that rears its ugly head, really.
Know you I'm a current events jinkie, so if you appraise me of CNN links I won't deprive you of scene points.
