I've changed a lot under the hood for the subscription loading. In the past the loading did a massive I/O so that with many subscriptions, opera hangs. I've patched that in an earlier 3.0.5 version to only load 1 subscription per minute.
Now, after more testing and implementing, its save to load 20 subscription per minute without a heavy I/O and without hanging opera.
This was the first change to the subscriptions, my prio 1. But also other changes are in the ToDo list, which will come with further versions.
This week, there was an message from an YouWatch user with a subscription problem. But i couldn't help because i had to few information. So I implemented the Debug Mode. Enabling this will log every action of YouWatch into a log, visible at the options page. At the moment it logs basic communication stuff and subscription loading. When there is time, i will extend this. Please only enable the debug mode when you want to find an error, or I requested a log. Due to massive data logging, enabling the debug mode all the time can cause performance and memory issues with leads to a slower opera.
Thanks to the good people at Opera, there was found a bug (the badge was messed up..) before 3.1 could go live. Fixing this bug also gave birth to follow up bugs, also fixed in this version. So there shouldn't be any known bugs.
YouTube changed something again and the Instant- & Alternative Search was broken. Is fixed in this version.
Fix for the Subscriptions at the Startpage with the new default YouTube design. More fixes and changes for the new design are coming, just fixed the biggest one as fast as possible.
More Fixes for the new YouTube design:
- Hiding videos on the new frontpage works now
- Subscription button works again
- Adjustments for the design (mainly on the frontpage)
Also, added translation for Turkish. Thanks to zahek for the translation.
Maintenance build: Adjusted to YouTube changes.
