malasadas: so delicious, but so easy to make a mess
I'm tempted to anonymously place signs on the toilets at work saying "save water! Please use the urinals if you are only going to pee." Unfortunately, I get the feeling that it'd get removed really fast as the janitor is one of the offenders. But then it just might give him pause, as he'd realize that someone has noticed what he's been doing. Well, the janitor and whoever else reads the signs. The beauty is that the guilty will think of themselves first in regard to who the sign is for.
argh... trying to get 5 parties together for a dinner tomorrow night... much harder than it needs to be

Pictured is the wonderfully creamy royal milk tea flavor. Sharon got this at Marukai the other day. It sure beats the tired white, milk, and dark chocolate flavors here. Too bad it's so expensive

Drinking fountains... They're inefficient, as so much water just hits your lips and go straight down the drain. How much water would be saved annually if people carried little cups or shallow bowls around? Wonder if there's a patent out for such a highly portable and convenient drinking fountain apparatus.
Hmm, what is the process on checking for existing patents and such anyway?

I think I'm going to load a new rom on my phone. Currently using the stock rom on my sprint htc diamond. Might experiment with windows mobile 6.5; it's supposed to be more finger friendly than 6.1. Also of interest is Sense 2.5, a major upgrade to my current touchflo3d user interface.
Taking the bus home today. Gives me a slight bit of time to catch up on my reading.
I have two books that I read at once: one for the bathroom, and one in my bag for travel (bus or waiting in car). Turns out that I'm reading about five times more in the bathroom than travel.

swype swype swype. Have I mentioned how awesomely fun it is to write with swype? I think I have! sometimes I don't look at the screen and see what type of nonsense it comes up with.
For example:
I a afi tariff right cute.
I am at target right now.
So why this focus on swype? It makes it easy for me to quickly enter text into my phone. That leads to being able to take down names when they are still semi-fresh. That ultimately leads to these daily dumps that I've been doing.
I figure that if I don't get my thoughts out quickly, then I spend way too long in getting them out at all. At least this way, even if I don't post my ramblings daily, I still have them down. Either that, or I could put them up quick and dirty instead of slow and thorough.

Donnie is definitely a morning person -- that's only if he doesn't have a rude awakening though. He is so much more amiable in the morning than late at night. Maybe it's just that he is super cranky when he gets tired; guess that's a better way of looking at it.
Does cuteness carry over to farts? Baby farts, specifically.
Been recently getting Donnie into "Ni Hao, Kai Lan." The show seems pretty decent, bright and colorful, has some nice beats, and is not based on a purple dinosaur

Did I ever mention... Donnie has been dashing around in tiny little spurts. It won't be long before he'll be running around all the time.
He is developing a bad habit of immediately going into a crying mode when faced with even the slightest adversity. this a precursor to the terrible twos, or did he have a one year head start?
brought Donnie to work the other day. Apparently the consensus was that he is a big boy (nearly the size of a 3 year old), he is very cute, and that he very much looks like me. It took him a while to warm up to my coworkers though. Donnie was extremely clingy until he got over the stranger anxiety! but at least he didn't throw a fit
