Blog tag: 5 things I’d like to see in Opera

5 wishes - 5 blog tags

- This blog is tagged by Ian and Tamil
- Tagged blogs are originally started by Daniel
- Each tagged blogger have to express 5 wishes about Opera and have to tag 5 persons of interest...

My 5 modest wishes:

1. That the current `My Buttons` content will be saved too, each time we duplicate a toolbar setup or each time we update Opera; that may be a simple checkbox or a request: Save `My Buttons` too.
2. Separate settings for tooltips and tab thumbnails and easily comprehensible dialogs or prefs-editor sections therefore.
3. Not cluttered menus and dialogs, e.g. Toolbars: View - Toolbars / Appearance - Toolbars, Panel settings: Appearance - Panels / Appearance - Toolbars.
4. A little bit more official documentation about currently valid skin.ini sections and currently valid commands/actions (uncommented lists per version lasts out).
5. More attention on old mistakes: e.g. to save settings for the pagebar head and tail is buggy since ages.

- And: a list of all tagged blogs

My 5 blog tags:

Christian, Sipke, Marc, Pesala and Simon

Hi Tomu,
finally I finished my list: http://my.opera.com/ResearchWizard/blog/a-game-of-opera-tag-5-things-i-d-like-to-see-in-opera

Somewhere in it there is mentioned something towards your #4.

Tomu-
I agree, but the thing that I could use desperately, is the ability to move the Sessions Menu to a panel. If the Bookmarks can be added to the Panels, they should be able to do it w/ Sessions, which are Bookmarks too.

Migraine

Try once the session buttons on: ttt-buttons-sessions....

These buttons you can drag also to any existing panel...

I wish there was a btn we could place on the "view" tab or other, so that we can call the "send link by mail" whenever we are viewing a page only with a swf file; the only way I know is to use the context menu and since over a swf file the context menu sends us to adobe actually... there is no way to do that ! :|

(...i wonder tough... is there a hidden shortkey combination to do that??...)

BTW, several weeks ago, I got on a Firefox forum site & just to be -hehehe- nasty, I posted some screenshots there that I'd taken of my 9.64 Opera maxed out with hundreds of tabs/sites open all at once. In fact, in one of the shots you'll see 1,320 tabs open in 4 maxed-out Opera windows using Tobias' ttt-people skin/tabs, which I gave him well-deserved credit for in my post.
Ya'll just have to see this (& wonder just what those Firefox people must be thinking!):
