Tom Wylde

About me

I am a life long Chicagoan, life long guitarist and a photographer for the last several years, since buying my first D-SLR camera. I now shoot with that first one, a Canon Digital Rebel 400D and a Canon 50D. I have a hodge podge collection of lenses, but nothing like the one's I want to get (30-200mm F2.8 and an 80mm F1.2) and shoot with!

My guitars are a Jackson Soloist and Jackson Randy Rhodes V. Acoutic is a special edition (only 200 made) Ovation with a dark red flametop.

I currently have to deal with a chronic pain issue from a couple (out of 4) failed surgeries to my neck. I was found to have a congenital spinal cord issue and attempts to fix the problems haven't always been successful. But I am still a happy guy! I've been heavily blessed with a beautiful and intelligent wife, Catherine, and two little bundles of joy in two toy poodles! Wait, you didn't see their photos?! You will!

My work

I have described what I do with my life above (in the About Me section). I take photos when I can, play my guitars when I can and even though it's been on hiatus, (due to health reasons), I will be producing and hosting my radio show, featuring independent and local metal bands. Wylde Radio was on the air for 5 years before going out last year, but it's close to rockin' you again soon! Stay Tuned!
