Long Way Round ...my version

I've just finished one of my favorite shows called Long Way Round on the Youtube
...staring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. It's a documentary of their, if I may say CRAZY, journey from London to New York. Not by crossing the Atlantic but through the Long Way Round...using bikes.
What I loved most bout the show is not just the journey through tons of magnificent scenery, but it also tells the story of true friendship, the story of failure and victory, and also the story of having a dream, holding to that dream and accomplishing it....together!
You guys has accomplish something that Sir Edmund Hillary never dreams of :D
WELL ENOUGH BOUT THEIR JOURNEY....
I also have my own version of the long way round....not necessarily around the globe he he but I really want to explore my country more. To immerse myself in her beauty. To be free to see new horizons, new faces, new experiences....with friends and love ones :wink:

Today another page in Indonesian history has been written.

This morning at 10.00 am WIB (GMT +07.00), the Inauguration ceremony for the elected President and Vice President has taken place.

For the second time in office SBY and now with the new vice president Boediono will carry on this mandate to bring this big and proud nation towards prosperity.

Today mixed emotion run around in my head....happy and proud to celebrate our first national batik day, to be recognize by the International community of our heritage. Sad and bitter to see my sister and brother, my fellow Indonesian suffering in several earth quake devastated areas.

May The Almighty strengthen our faith....live must prevail :angel:

Yesterday a saw an Indonesian air line TV commercial that really takes my breath away he he :D
It featured many Indonesian breathtaking landscapes and cultures....and it hit me Homer: Doh! why don't I list my favorite commercial that featured the best part of Indonesia.
