This site (http://www.writeopenstory.com) is a website for collaborative writing. It’s build from the idea: allow user create and continue other’s story from any branch of the original story. So we can have a lot of interesting endings for one story. We display story as a graph, you can see this sample: http://www.writeopenstory.com/Story165.aspx User can choose a node (one chapter of a story) and continue it. Certainly, someone can write a story and abandon it to write continue. That’s up to the author of each chapter.

Each registered user in writeopenstory has a space (like blog – but we call that “storyspace”). StorySpace means the space to contain your stories. You can use it to share your stories with your friend. You also customize its theme, layout,...

We call the term of “the story can be created and written by multi user” as “OpenStory”. So we named this site: WriteOpenStory.

We use a lot of Ajax library to build this site: MooTool, JsViz, Yahoo UI library, AjaxPro,... In the future, we’ll add more features for it. We hope it can be the best place for collaborative writing community. Currently, a lot of Vietnamese people join into this site, and post a lot of interesting stories here.
